It was empowering to feel in control of my health again and I committed myself to the study of acupuncture while working full-time as a PT. I have 24 years of experience in the healthcare field, and have maintained a private practice in NYC since 2013.

David has worked in private practice as a Massage Therapist for over 23 years. He is one of a very few massage therapists who is certified in Applied Kinesiology. Applied Kinesiology, or AK, utilizes muscle testing to find muscle dysfunction in the body that can lead to compensation patterns, pain and injury. Using a variety of techniques from different disciplines, he can quickly restore function and relieve muscle pain, enhance healing from injuries, optimize sports performance and balance the body to prevent imbalance injuries. I work with people who are willing to take a risk to look at their emotional difficulties, low self-esteem, ruminating thoughts and unhealthy patterns, which is hard to deal with alone.
My therapy style is experiential and collaborative, and is informed by a healing-oriented, emotion-focused, attachment-based psychotherapy model called AEDP. I am a certified AEDP therapist & supervisor.
